Acupuncture is the cornerstone of Traditional Chinese Medicine, practiced for over 3,000 years. It involves the precise insertion of ultra-thin, sterile needles at specific points along the body's meridian system — pathways through which vital energy, or Qi (氣), flows. When Qi is disrupted or blocked, illness and pain result. Acupuncture restores free flow.

Our NCCAOM-certified acupuncturists perform a comprehensive intake before each treatment, examining your tongue, pulse, and overall constitution to design a point prescription uniquely suited to your pattern. No two treatments are identical.

What to Expect

Comprehensive intake (60–75 min first visit) — tongue exam, pulse diagnosis, health history review, and treatment plan discussion.
Needle insertion — ultra-thin sterile needles placed at specific points. Most patients feel little to no discomfort; many fall asleep.
Rest (20–30 min) — needles are retained while you relax in a warm, quiet treatment room.
Follow-up plan — your practitioner discusses your response and recommends a treatment frequency tailored to your condition.
